Thread: So You Fired Tiggs?
It is kind of amusing that suddenly there's two active Devs I haven't seen -EVER- online suddenly doing all the posting. Tiggs was doing the job of many probably for the pay of 1, so I have to give her a hat's off. I've known her a long long time now, and will truly miss her. All in all, we had our share of disagreements, but also had our share of mutual agreements, that's how life is folks. Some say she got fired, some say she quit, either way it is a loss that will be felt by the community. But if she should ever want a good reference for a new job, she need only contact me via the forums and I'll definately give her my contact information. She worked hard, did what she could, and performed her job the best she could under the constraints of coorporate scrutiny and censorship.

Take care, Tiggs. As someone who's done the IT and Customer Support job as a career for pushing 10 years now, I don't envy you the position you had here. I thought you did a stellar job (probably the best you could given limitations on you) and think that your departure is only going to hurt things with the impending rollout of the NGE.
Take care, and best of luck in whatever you move on to do... maybe we'll see you in LoTRO, DDO, or one of the other cool games coming out next year...

You know how hard it is to get any information about anything in here?
Now can you possibly imagine how hard it is to place someone as a community relations person and treat them the same way?
Tiggs was placed between a rock and a hard place.You can't treat your employee'slike that and then expect them to stick around when the bantha poodoo really hits the ceiling.
Anyway, I am 99% sure I'll be leaving this game because of the NGE, so I may eventually find you again at some other game

It's a major boo-boo as a CSR to bash a competitor's products on your company's website/forums. Could open SOE up to a suit for product disparagment.
I felt like it was an accumulation of discontent, but now that i read your post, i think you are 100% right.
MAJOR mistake on Tiggs part... if the lawyers say to Brenlo "Boot her or we'll take the lawsuit cost off your paycheck..." then she is history.
She should have known better.
They probably fired her because they have no need for a pure customer relation position in a consle game.
