So, I've been taking a break from the game for a couple of months, hearing that the slicing revamp was hitting the game today, I got back in last night to test the waters. I'm standing in Mos Eisley talking to my friend when noob walks up.

Noob: Can anyone give me 200 Imperial Faction?

(realizing he's really directing this question at me because I'm wearing my Scout Trooper Armor)

Me: Sorry, I don't give faction away. Selling it is my game.

Noob: Okay, I'll buy 200 faction off you.

Me: I sell for 125 credits a point.

Noob: Deal

Me: Waiting on your tip.

Noob: How do I tip.

(Friend instructs Noob how to tip.)

Noob: Did you get the 200 credits?

Me: No (Seriously, I didn't)

Noob: Hmm.....

Suddenly I get 200 credits tipped to me.

Me : Now I did.

Noob: How do I tip when the money's in the bank?

(I explain it to the Noob) - (Noob tips me 500 via bank)

Me: Got the bank tip, you're still 24,300 credits short.

Noob: I know....I got weapons.

Me: How nice for you.

Noob: I could give you the weapons in exchange for the faction.

Me: No thanks, I'm already well equiped (Was so tempted to do /hot self then)

Noob: Well you could sell the weapons.

Me: I'm not a Merchant.

Noob: You could sell them on the bazaar.

Me: Why don't you sell them on the bazaar and get back to me when they sell?

Noob: Okay.

(Noob runs off - Friend and I badmouth oob over group chat - Noob sends me an e-mail saying "How about I give you everything I own, including the clothes off my back for the faction? - I reply back "Sorry, Coin of the Realm is the Smuggler's Creed.")

Noob wanders around Mos Eisley for the next 15 minutes with no clothes on yelling/spamming "Selling everything I own for either 200 Imp faction or 22000 credits!"

Actually I tipped him back 100 credits more than he paid me (was a typo, but I'm not going to cry over 100 credits)...and he added me to his friends list. Go figure.

I was just asked if I could "smuggle faction" for a guy.

I am not a smuggler, never was a smuggler and don't have immediate plans to be a smuggler. That being said, this has been the most hilarious, side-splitting thread it has ever been my pleasure to encounter. I read this at work and my co-workers thought I had gone around the bend as the tears were streaming down my face. The best part is some of those stories could have been about me. The ones where the knuckle head just doesn't get it. Thankyou and please continue.

My bad...the k after the 500 was a typo (and wishful thinking) it has been fixed.

So today I'm doing the rebel pilot missions at nyms, which is a lot of running between the palace and the starport, and this guy asked me if I could slice his suit of armor. I said okay, I dont charge for slicing because I dont need money. I take the suit, explain to him a little about the new slicing and slice as much of the suit as I could without tools. I put it all back in the backpack, trade it back to him and say goodbye as I head back to the palace.
As I'm going over the bridge the guy sends me a tell and he is like come back here I want my armor. I told him to look in the backpack. He says he did and its not there. I stop turn around and go back to him and tell him that I put it all back in the bag and that its prolly just bugged and he should relog. After he accuses me of stealing his armor and several curse words later. I tell him to shut up, and relog. He goes LD, a minute later he is loaded back in. Then he immediately starts saying he is very sorry for cussing at me and accusing me of stealing his armor.
We both had a laugh about it and just blamed the game for it. I wasnt mad at him for cursing at me cause I know I would be pissed if someone stole my armor.
