Ok guys I got an alt toon, and he is gonna be jsut a drafty crafter type, but I want him to be armed as well as any civilian type can be so he is learning the marksman pistols tree. He really digs the DL-44 and that will be his weapon of choice to fend off those scary monsters and what not when he is out checking his equipment.

What the best DL-44 recipe? Krayt tissues? Addons?

The Metal DL-44 with the type 4 (I think, the short one) scope and the black barrel that has the little dohicky hanging down. It looks nice. If that's gonna be your primary and you wanna go all out, use the tissue, you only need one.

Also the regular DL-44 with the silver scope and silver barrel doesn't look bad either.

I am gonna go with the metal cause the silver looks cool ,and it will be this toons RP/main weap, so I am gonna have in jrayted with the best dmage tissue I can get.

If you're primarily non-combat and you need help with the little critters...I recommend finding a DE and have him make yo a decent combat droid. They work well for clearing harvs.

Secure 1 Krayt Tissue to make the Base parts for the Power Handler.

The rest will be the weaponsmith'sAdvanced Barrells and Scopes.

The stronger and faster the Krayt Tissue......the better.

If you're really really really really rich, and you want something you can just take with you on harvester runs and whatnot, I would suggest buying a +300 tissue (or looting one, if you're that lucky), and crafting a D18 with it.

They're certed at Novice Marksman.

Getting it damage sliced would be nice as well, since with the right resources, you could hit around 600 damage (post slice) and it should be around a .5 speed (if, of course, you're using one of those really really reallyreally rare and expensive +300 -2.0 tissues).

The speed caps at 1 second, but you'll still be able to spam Overcharge shot with it and kill pretty quickly.

Advanced weapon scope, High velocity blaster pistol barrel... yeah, you could make a lethal weapon out of that.

Always go with the D18.
