Thread: Yellow DE-10 Barrels...WOW theres a big range in damage.

I recently crafted two DE-10 pistols, using 142 Max damage tissue. The 2nd one i crafted, came out at a nice round 420 max damage.
Using the EXACT same materials, the 1st one came out at 459 max damage. That is a difference of 39 max...
I was not sure how much damage range de10's could have. This is almost astonishing.

Ya yellow barrels have all added damage to DE-10s crafted on my weaponsmith.
I have had anything from 8-46 max damage added. As well as ideal range and wound. I have made about 15-20 DE-10s and have figured out what my base stats are on my server with my resources so I can figure out what it should be with the krayt tissue and then find out what it is.

In 3 crafts (same tissue set used on all 3) I got similar results (all great successes) with the max damage, etc.
One had a wound chance in the 80%s the other 2 were 40%s, really found that to be weird. it was like 42 or so higher.

i had a yellow barrel add 40 to min and another add +60 to ideal range

yes but if i have say 11 tissues - +103 dmg with -0.5 speed - if i experiment with the yellow worded tissue will i get better results then with a non-yellow tissue????

i proceeded to craft another de10, this time using +135 max tissues. it ended up at 439 max damage, which was 19 more than the yellow barreled one crafted with +142 tissues, but 20 less than the first yellow barreled one with 142's.

if i experiment with the yellow worded tissue will i get better results then with a non-yellow tissue????
No, each tissue in the set is the same, yellow text on anything usually just means it's of above average quality be it tissues or yellow cubes or loot weapons. In the case of DE-10 barrels, they drop one at a time so you either get the white barrel or the yellow barrel.

why cant i be on your server? there are not de-10's close to that on chilly
