Thread: The best weapon for which profession...

I am still unsure of which combat proffession I am going for right now...these are the choices I picked.
- Rifleman - What is the best weapon for this prof. and what do I need to make it the best...
- Bounty Hunter - What is the best weapon for this prof. and what do I need to make it the best...
- Commando - Pretty sure that Flamethrower is the best here so what do I need to make it the best...
I want to get this ready so I can chose my prof when the time comes and have the most kickass weapon waiting for me...

Do not try to collect the resources for a "kick ass" weapon your self, buy one ready made, you will have to buy any enhancement anyway as, you cant get them before you become skilled in a combat profession.
As for witch one to choose... each one of them offers a different game play, you should choose the ones game-play you like the most, and not the ones who weapons are the most "kick ass". The weapons can be changed ate the combat balances, but the play style will most likely always stay the same.

Not really any such thing as "best weapon for a profession."
You will be best-served with several different weapons for your chosen profession. Especially riflemen, as there are several rifles that work best in different situations.

Best to go to the profession boards. Most weaponsmiths just make them, and don't know how to use them.
As has been said before, there usually isn't one best weapon. Rifleman for example, usually will carry T21 and Laser rifles, a Jawa if they pvp a lot.The new DXR-6 rifleis really good too.Spraystick and SG82 don't get used a lot, but they have their uses too.
Same thing w/ BH. A pure BH will have different weapon preference than a BH/Pistoleer or a BH/Carbineer. So, really.. the best thing we can tell you right now is to go ask in the Rifleman/BH/Commando board.
