Heh heh. Thanks, Ysal. They must not have spawned on Dantooine or spawned briefly and I missed. *sigh*

Every spawn of Copper, Aluminum, and Steel shows up on 8 of the 10 planets, so it's easy to watch for these three by checking three planets regularly. However, Iron is different, in thateach spawnonly appears on 1-4 planets. If you want to have a good chance of finding new Irons, you might want to do a more thorough sweep of the galaxy.
For the more time constrained, look for ways of cutting down the workload. Try one of the resource listing websites (like www.swgcraft.com), and see if someone updates Sunrunner with resources on planets you don't check. Or get a cooperative with a few other trustworthy smiths who'll check other planets and email each other new WS resource stats.

I've been waiting months for these two to spawn on Sunrunner server but haven't even seen it. I check daily on Dantooine and occasionally on Corellian and Talus.
Do these only spawn on a particular planet or for a short period of time? Four months seems like a long time to wait.

class 3 spawned about 3 weeks ago. www.swgcraft.com reports
it gone 15 days ago. You just missed it.
Axidite shows something similar, although I didn't pay
much attention to that spawn.
I can accurately determine when a spawn of a rare resource
or a very good resource will appear. It is within about
one week of me saying: "Wow, that stuff is selling for
big credits, maybe I'll sell some of my excess". Sure
enough, the next week...
