Don't use stocks.
Stats will depend on your server's resources, but at master they should be 5.5-6.0 speed. If you're not master, you won't sell much unless you dump them on bazaar for 3k each.

on Valcyn Laser Rifles went from 20k to 12.5k to 10k in the matter of a few weeks, I can't believe how quick that market dropped.
THe stats on mine are 30-365 5.8speed

We had a similar issue on Starsider. Prices began at 22K and are now riding around 9K. You can still pay 15K for one if you want, as I imagine many people do on my server. Starsider folks seem to have too much money and don't believe saving 6K is worth going somewhere else.

Depends on the server. Dont panic if they dont sell really quick, unless you have giant amounts of the resources for them. Lasers sell for 15-20k on my server.

It's a question of quality (dmg) - on StarSider mine sell quite nicely for 14k. They do 6 to 10 pts more dmg than the laser being sold by some of the lower-priced smiths.

Just a thought on stocks. Would it be possible to experiment fully on ham and damage with enough mods from tapes? Just with basic stocksyou'd increase about 15 maxdamage and make it faster while adding no ham. As for the Advanced, even if you could mass enough tapes to experiment fully, I am not sure it is possible to eliminate all ham cost, and it may slow the speed a little, but the damage increase would be very nice.

Do all the lasers have to hit the target in order to do full damage?
I ask this because on the Kimogila ship, I have 3 weapons. 1 shoots wide on the left and right, 1 shoots high, and the last one
hits dead center. So are the side, and top ones useless?

if it is the same weapon shooting all 3 then only one has to hit for full damage. if they are 3 different weapons. then no, they do not all hit if only one hits.

If one shot from a particular weapon hits, then you get full damage.
So, in the TIE Interceptor, there's 4 blasts from the 1 weapon. If any 1 hits, it does the full damage of the weapon.
In your kimogila example, if 1 blast from each pair of weapons hits your target, then the target takes full damage. If one blast from 2 weapons hit, then you only get the damage from 2 weapons.

The 3rd weapon slot, the one that shoots high, may be of more use since it's not that far off of being dead center.
I love the tightness of the spread of the 1 and 3 weapons on the Kimo. I agree that the wing slot doesnt hit much, but I load it up every single time. Basically, I either put the 1/3 in the main fire group, and have an "alpha strike" with the wings included, or get a weapon for the wing that has hideously low energy per shot. For me, its either the wing weapons or a missle laucher...and I only get about a dozen shots with the missles.
As far as usage, I find that the wings create a very wide firing arc. I almost always hit with at least one weapon.
