Thread: Just a quick question concerning bowcasters...

As far as I know, bowcasters are the only weapon which uses BOTH projectile feed mechs. and Blaster Power Handlers. So, question is, has anyone thought of using an uber gorax shard coupled with some uber krayt tissues, and those themepark blaster rifle barrels, maybe a form fitted stock too, could get insanely fast with VERY high damage....just a thought, if anyone has done this on any server, please respond with stats if possible.
as far as I can see, this is how it woudl turn out:
w/ 70 damage gorax shard -.5 speed
w/ 4 x 70 damage krayt tissues -.5 speed
437 max damage unsliced 589 damage sliced
4.3 speed unsliced (w/ form fitted stock could get as low as 3.4 or so unsliced, with a small penalty to max/min damage)
So if anyone has done this please let me know how it came out. Thanks.

Dont think they take stocks...we need a Wookiee WS to comment on this.

They do not take stocks. Also themepark barrels will not be better than 11/11 dmg advanced barrels. However some nice exceptional blaster rifle barrels would make a wookie happy.

The other thing to consider is the Bowcaster is AP0, so it would really be a waste to use good gorax shards and tissues on this weapon. It's a shame they ruined this weapon which is why you see very few wookies actually using it. It's great for levelling rifles for wookies but once you get up to a laser rifle it becomes obsolete.

Ive made a gorax/krayt bowcaster and it came out quite nicely (just base tissues and shards). I think it was something like 400 dmg and 4.4 speed unsliced, all let down of course by the fact that its AP0

My friend who leads DWB groups fairly often uses one. The AP doesnt matter hes a Master Swords. The only use for it in there is to agro 1 mob at a time from ranged, means we only need to kill 1 at a time 
Laser Rifle is sweet tho. I got one when i was grinding marksman and thought OMFG i was using a 120max DLT20 before lol and this was a 450 max 4.0 speed one

Made two decent bowcasters with gorax and Krayt - came out around 450 max damage - my normal ones were 294 at the time.
