In no particular order:
Looted weapons being significantly more powerful than crafted weaponry *and* being closer to 'uncommon' than 'rare'.
Berserker Rifle not being craftable.
Useless schematics: Heavy Warhead, Beam Rifle.
3 out of 4 experimentation lines are mostly irrelevant.
Slicing: needs a downside. There currently isn't one, and (enough) people don't conisder the weapon 'useful' unless it's got a slice of x% before they buy it.

My main issue is slicing. You can take a mediocre weapon and give it a good slice and voila, a good weaponsmith. Then you have hundreds of guns going unsold because they recieved a bad slice. Then you have the hassle of trying to price difference slices differently. Also you want to keep as many good slices in stock as possible so you slice a ton of the same gun adding even more useless slices.

First off, slicing isnt really an issue and second it doesnt belong in the weaponsmith forums...belongs in the smuggler forum.
if you get a bad slice on a weapon- sell it for lower price.
anyway, how about fixing the visiblity issue with the scopes?
would like to see the scopes on the weapons we make
The berserker would have to be my biggest issue at this point..its schematic is broke.
It doesnt recongize the stablizer as a part for the weapon.

1. Berserker Rifle stabilization component - no serial number. I know of at least two petitions to fix it, one of which has 9 pages of /sign at last check
2. Advanced Weapon stocks experimentation is bugged. Damage percent always starts at 7% and if you try to put as much experimentation points in it as possible it never gives you a great success or better
3. Component visibility - I dont have a problem with it not showing components when you mass produce, but so far all the weapons i have made have been on a personal basis and its frustrating not to be able to see your components and then the other day i finally made my first T21 and the muzzle is visible, but looks like it is bent down, i will attach a picture when i figure out how to do it
4. Heavy Warhead and Chemical Warhead still not used - I thought there might have been a possibility of them being used in JTL, but after recently joining the beta I have not seen them in there either.

5. Beam Rifle - enough said

All the worth while issues have already been covered in the above posts.
It would be nice to see a new weapon or 2 get introduced that wasn't a limited use schematic or loot only.

I like all the above which pretty much sum up the major issues, but I have one other...
1. Looted schems or temporary schems need to be more than 1 use, and need to be able to be gotten a large number of times if looted if not infinite number of looted times. The prices on Scythe schems on Starsider are outrageous due to the fact that you have to be a decent fighter to get the quest and you can only do it twice(even though many people can only seem to get it to go once). Also De-10 schematics are single use, which is prepostorous and simply raises the price. Between two and five uses is acceptable on all temporary schematics but they must be able to be looted or received from quest as much as people want to go get them. People complain about the pricing of these weapons, well here I am pointing you to the precise problem of why they are so expensive.

1. Storage issues: How are we supposed to store the resources, component crates and the pyramids of loot components (power cubes, etc.)? Vendors are still the only chance for a WS, but we need a "legal" method of storing our resources and other things... or at least bigger stack and crate sizes.
2. Weapon repairs are still bugged. Recently added was the "feature" that the original damage of the weapon was not restored after the successful repair of a weapon which was under 25% condition, although it was a rare minor blemish repair and the condition went back to 900+...
3. Limited schematics need to have more than 1 use
4. Berserker Rifle not craftable
5. Exploited weapons need to be removed from the game.

I doubt our issues have really changed much .. since nothing in Weaponsmith has changed much.
But anyway, post your personal top issues (no more than 5, please) here. I'll collect them, prioritize them and run them by the community for finalization in a few weeks.

Expermentation on advanced weaponstocks does not seem to work properly.
Loot weapons, specifically Polearms/DOT weaponshave become too common.
Redundant/useless weapons, Tangle pistol, Beam rifle, DLT20a rifle, DH17 Carbine, DL44 pistol...
Berserker rifle stablization component needs serial number
Stats need to be displayed on DE10 barrel.

The DH17 is the basic weapon of the new SWG marksmanplayer. I used one when I started and I would have been lost without it. I used a DL44 to get my pistol skill until I could use a scout blaster. I sell at least a case a week of each. How can you say they are useless??
I do agree thatthe DLT20a is redundant. I can't see any use for the DH17 pistol either.

Sorry I guess I should have been clearer; I was refering to the fact that those weapons all have almost exact copies: DLT20 and DLT20a, DH17 carbine and DH17 Short, DL44 and DL44 metal. We only really need one of each.

Ah ok... now I am following you. I don't sell many DH17 Shorts, although I use one made by another smith (I still have no idea how he got the damage so high...). I have never made DLT20a's so that is no big loss. I have never understood the existance of the DH 17 pistol myself.
The odd thing about the DL44 metal pistol is that people do want them and will pay more than they will for a regular DL44. I only made one case of them as an experiment and people have been buying them off my vendor. I charge 500 credits more for them than for the regular DL44. I've had people ask me if I stock them. I have never used one and I really don't get the attraction myself. Maybe some peeps think a shiny gun looks cooler.

I've got two:
1. The tusken rifle uses projectile weapon parts, yet does energy damage instead ok kinetic.
2. The spraystick uses chemical parts, but does energy dammage instead of acid.
I know that the tusken was nerfed for some imaginairy benefit to melee players. I have never heard the story of the spraystick though. I am of the opinion that these weapons should be restored to the damage types they were meant to be. Melee players are too powerful (and plentiful) anyway.
