yup, i know many of you will cry foul on this one but they should be.
And this is the logic,,
first, though not the main point, weapon smiths have soo many schems, just like any other crafting prof.. Most ws dont make um.. i have found very few on any vendor. Its about as rare as a good CDEF.
second, the artisan could use some love, as most of there stuff is not all that popular,, should call um master power up makers,,
but third,, and this is the MAIN point..
EVERY OTHER NON CERT WEAPON,, is made by a artisan. C12's are non cert. and should be treated as such.
Also artisans make fireworks which basically a grenade in a different package, a metal casing instead of paper.
Besides untill this FS crap how many of you acually made and sold these?? Be honest. I worked with my buddy and sold these in crates of 25 for 5k and they never sold till this, well a few here and there but not many.I was one of the few that had a complete stock of CDEF's and sliced to boot.. +100 damage on a cdef pistol.. : )Nowthe weapons smiths that are making these are selling um for 25-50k a crate well the ones that are selling um that is.Take practicallly nothing to make um and if you ask me its a total rip off to charge that much..

Yeah but they take components a Artisan can't and shouldn't be able to make.

they are still non cert weapons.. and who says CDEFs are trash?? to the person that has to use them, they are pretty damn good.
And like i said,, if you know about making fireworks, they are excatly the same mechanisms and materials used in grenades, minus the shell.. and an artisan should be able to fill a mold.. they can make harvesters and tehy are a lot more comlicated than a grenade

umm...I say CDEFs are trash for one.
Give a newbie taking all day to kill a kreetle with a CDEF a D18, DH17, or a DLT20 and he'll sound like a giddy little kid with the "WOW!!! Those things used to be so tough! This thing rocks!"
Face it, you probably want to cash in on the FS grinding being done using the "can't miss the lair and everything in range" bug without WS. Tough noogies. Weapons worth making get made by WS.
Is your next post going to be on the AS board saying that Ubese armor should be master artisan too? O_o

I regularly made and sold C12s. My crates would sell for approximately 15k before the big rush and before the factory timer fix. These are and should be a weaponsmith-made weapon.

As I posted in the Artisan forum thread on this.....
They are a weaponsmith scheme and should be...especially since they require two WS made components.
Don't even ask for the Fusing Mechanism and Light Warhead schemes. They are needed for other munitions and should stay WS.
Creating dependencies on other professions is bad and will only jack the prices of items up even more, so don't as for just the C12 and to buy fusings and warheads from WS's.
And get an original idea. Quit trying to get whatever is popular as a money maker transferred to X profession. If you want it changed, come up with an original idea. The devs are more likely to listen to an original idea than one that is gonna nerf one profession just to improve yours.
Oh, who has the monopoly on vehicles? Oh yeah, that's right, Master Artisans. Then again Master Artisans have nothing that make money. Right. And Nightsisters don't eat swoops like jellybeans either.
Lastly, if you aren't happy with being a Master Artisan, do something else. Its not like you are stuck with that profession.

There is a reason that 'trash' level weapons are in Artisan. It is due to the fact that they are not truly Weaponsmiths, they are merly on the way to it.
Under this form of logic the Ground vehicles should be moved to either engineering or into the shipwright profesion.
It just doesn't hold a lot of water.

Not to mention that master artisan is a basic profession, and therefore shouldnt be relied upon as a hugely profittable profession. Its the first step towards being a crafter, you are still a novice crafter as a master artisan.
