With tapes you can get an extra +25 max, like with all skilltapes. You also have the FS assembly to add with that, so 145 is the relative cap for it. (you can still use polly cake to add an other +15)

but..................im just curious why i have an automatic +110 assembly mod.....i didnt get 110 assembly with master artisan. just curious there.
with tapes i would need to be at 135 then?
and im guessing fs skills would be another +10 to make it 145?

differentraces of beings get differentinherent skill bonuses. I am guessing that is the reason for your extra+10 wep ass.

I am pretty sure that rodians get an extra +10 to weapon assembly, and maybe the 2 new races as well (but I am not sure about that).

DOH! shoulda thought about that, yeah, my toon is a mon calamari who has +10 to weapons assembly, so thats awesome
.
Now, my next question.
Since I get +10 just for being the race that I am, does that mean that I only need to collect +10 in tapes since my weaponsmith's toolbelt is +5 already?
Please say yes

Well, you only need an extra +10 if you want to be the max that everyone else is, since you have +5 in the toolkit. So to match all the other Assembly Capped weaponsmiths that aren't Mon Cal or Rodian. But if you got +20 more, that would bring you to your Personal cap of +25 in CAs. You would have 10 more to Weapon Assembly to non-Rodian and non-Mon Calamari Master Weaponsmiths with +25 in tapes. If you got only an additional +10, you would match them, but you are able to get more. Does this make sense?
There isn't a hard cap for Experimentation or Assembly. For instance, a Human gets +15 artisan experimentation. This means that a human master artisan will only need +5 to be 12 point and be top of the line, but he is capable of getting +25, meaning that it is possible for Humans to be 14 point artisans, due to the fact that there is no hard cap on experimentation; the same is true for assembly.
I hope I didn't confuse you too much.
