Recently I crafted a weapon for a customer with a 99 max damage Acklay bone. The weapon experimented perfectly and produced a 522 max damage Power Hammer. My customer is of the opinion that this should have produced a 600+ damage weapon.
I'm not sure where he is getting his information from. I am using 1000 SR iron and the highest SR polysteel copper ever to spawn on the server. With a 40-40 crafted core I can hit 463 max damage on a PH. How exactly is a 92-99 Acklay bone suppose to get over 600? The math simply does not add up.
I have tried to explain the effect of a core on the finished weapon; that there is no magical property of an Acklay bone that inflate the stats on the finished weapon. Am I missing something here? Are the super high damage PH being created with "exceptional" Acklay bones by any chance?

he probably just thinks that a normal power hammer is 476 max dmg so he adds the max dmg of bone too that
maybe doesnt understant it replaces the reinforced core.

Had someone come with a 65/65 base bone and tell me that they wanted the hammer to be 700+. I just shook my head and laughed and did some math with them. They understood everything then told me.."but it's an acklay bone". LOL, I said the min and max numbers on the bone mean something... I told him you have to have a much high dmg bone to make it 700+. I was then told thatI was trying to cheat him and he left. Someone must have taken a long time and explained it further, because I had a mail 2 days later saying he was sorry for the missunderstanding and asked me to make a gaffi stick with his bone...lol. Sometimes the laughes in this game are great.

aye there were 4 of them...2 stun batons and a gaffi made a while ago and now this hammer...
i think we have had 3 drops of exception bones in this range berfore...i know of at least one more batch of 4 with similar stats (scary thing is those bones had to be reversed)

Is it possible that your customer doesn't know about slicing? With a damage slice it probably will go over 600 max.
As it is, even straight adding the bone to a regular hammer wouldn't even go 600.

Months ago I had a hammer made with a 120/174 damage bone, came out to be 601 max unsliced. Think your customer was off
