I am fairly new to SL, about a couple days, but it is what I have wanted to do since I got the game. I am just curious if there is any good macros for squad leader that comes in handy?

Why is it that everyone uses macro's to grind to jedi and then just macro away jedi as well.. why not just arrange ure tool bar with normal macros that you gain from levelingand then learn how to use them all while you grind ure xp.
Not slating you asking but whats the point in using macros that take all the fun away from learning your profession.. I know i won't actually play my jedi that i have worked so hard for.. i will just press a button and let the computer do it all for me..
I must admit to having one macro at my disposal.. and thats my target swoop mount one. that is the only one i will ever use because its not really profession related and i learn nothing from using or not using it.

Not for leveling, I want a macr that will improve DPS in pvp and cut down wasted time in PVP

/ui action ClearCombatQueue;
/pause .5;
/healallstatesself;
/pause .5;
/stand

I used to think like this too, had all my attacks aranged in my toolbar and i would spam them manually but i find now it is 10x quicker in pvp if you use a looping damage macro. I have it arranged to loop the damage macro and I control heals and status attacks manually.
I could do it all manually but this I find shaves off a noticable amount of time.

With all of the Jedi healing skills you have to have a macro. cure disease, poison and states will work on others so unless you want to target yourself, you have to have a macro. like /forceCureDisease self. Using /ui action clearComabtQueue as first line drops the heal to the next action. Since manually clearing the combat queue clears the cure insted of making it the next item you need to use a macro to do both.

Things you will need are vercupti, synsteak, and muon gold. (some sub Thaktilla, which gives df vs kd, instead of the vercupti)
For this macro to work correctly you would need to have your food level at or close to 0 and not already be under the influence of spice. If you are like me, you always have two brandys in ya but that works great with this macro because brandy only takes up your drink level.
Hit ctrl 2 and put the vercupti in the first slot, the synsteak in the second slot, and the muon in the third slot.
Hit ctrl A and make a new macro that looks like this:
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/ui action toolbarPane01;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarPane00;
(I put the pauses in just to be safe, some run the macro without any pausing)
Choose an icon and name for your food macro. Thenhit ctrl 1 and place the icon somewhere convenient on your main tool bar pane.
This macro will allow you to take a vercupti, a synsteak, and a muon at the touch of a button which will be priceless when you are confronted by a skilled BH.

I keep reading about stand/heal state macros and some other macros Jedi use for PVP. If you could post them below would be great!

See the penultimate guide for macros, but the short answer is no. You, at the very least, have to click on your resources. Everything else can be done by a macro.
