FS does not give extra experimentation points, just a better chance of success when you experiment, like a research center, but my understanding is it does not stack with the research center bonus either. I've heard it said thatthe full tree is*like* having a 13th point with all the amazing successes you get. I only have the first FS Exp box and I can't recall the last mod success I've had.

hold on because for FS you have an expermentation tree and and assembly tree so that should give you a boost forward

If you have the whole Experimentation tree in FS Crafting Mastery is that the same as having +20 to experimentation from attachments? And if it is the same, do they stack? Can a person be a 14pt WS?

FS experimentation is well worth it, actually almost better than having 12 pt. Without FS experimentation, 12 points did not always help me to recover from a moderate success.
Assembly and Crfating techniques don't seem to make any difference. Still get critical failures (but never when using Pyollian) on assembly. Can't tell if the number of amazing on assembly has increased or not.

I have to beg to differ there.
On custom weapons I have just +120 exp and +125 assembly. Very rarely do I get a moderate that would keep me from maxing out stats on the weapon with 12 points. Sure they may lose 100 conditon off of the weapon, but if you are just FS you will at best reach the stats I get on a bad build.
