Hello Weaponsmiths,

I see a schematic with CD 50% and OQ 50 %, does this mean that my metal only only has to have CD and OQ at 500, or does the computer take your number (say 970) and then take 50% of that (485) and that is your number that is being used in the craft??

Basically your second idea.

If you have OQ of 300 and CD of 600 then the final build quality will be (0.5 x 300) + (0.5 x 600) or 450, or rather the max experimented build quality will be 45%.

Yup...So you could play with numbers a bit to see what give you the best total value. Let say it requires 66% CD / 33% OQ.

This mean CD is more important that OQ. If you have a Steel that is 632 CD and 900 OQ, vs a Steel with 787 CD and 800 OQ. You could calculate which will yield better result.

(66% * Steel CD) + (33% * Steel OQ) = total.

The higher of the two total is what you should use in your crafting.
