a T21 is actually a realy good choice because you are getting the damage bonus of the stock w/o paying the ham cost .. so you can have a t21 w/ lower mind cost that is more manageable by BE vasarian brandy. Im probably the luckiest dude I know who used on on a t-21 and had 11 identical +30 krayt tissues AND scored a 34% damage slice. w/ a powerup I am over 650 on max damage and 220min damage (dont have exact #'s w/ me). And since the speed was around 6.7 I can speed cap on nearly everything except strafe2 and conseal shot. Crunching the numbers just +1 rifle speed tape would do it for strafe2 and +6 to speed cap on conseal shot. Considered dropping master brawler for master marksman but the unarmed lunge2 for tka is very nice at 20m too but now im way off topic.

ok so i have 5 of these 25-30 -.5 spd stocks what wpns do ppl like to see these in and what is a good general price? i didnt think a t21 would be good as spd in them is redundent (still like a 6.7..) but not sure what would be most popular.

Well now there are a few good possibilities for these articles. You first instinct might be to use them in logical weapons like rifles, but not so fast. Heavy weapons and carbines are the way to go. Especially heavy weapons. For instance the llc is relatively slow even when it is not stocked. With this stock a basic barrel and a decent slice. It is not beyond the realm of possibility to get a llc down under 3 speed. Many bounty hunters positively lust for this kind of thing.

I have made 2.1 speed dh17 carbines with them aswell. That is before the slice. Though the dxr8 carbine and the elite carbine could draw serious rewards from this.

Um I havent notice a terrific improvement ham wise when it comes to the imperial stock. Second it does less damage then the basic advanced you might make. The high end stocks are doing 40 40. The form fitted stock does 25 30. So you are sacraficeing damage. Whereas with a llc or a carbine this speed bonus truely shines. Remember that their is no real character speed bonuses on heavy weapons as is. Carbines especially the high powered ones are notoriously slow. The question is what he should use it in. Riflemen have from what I understand a substantial inate speed bonus on their weapons. While a bounty hunter or commando does not. I think on by at master. It might be .50 speed bonus. With a llc that is hard as hell to find a speed of less then 4.2 unstocked. Many carbines aswell go over 4 on speed.

Take my advice and ignore the lustfull t21 speed enthusiast. There is a reason unstocked t21s do not sell. The riflemen get an insane speed bonus anyway. So dumping the imp stock on a t21 might actually not be a worthwhile gun. Whereas an imp stocked llc might fetch you fifty k with ease on the market.

How can +0/+0/+0 not be noticeable to a norm of +30/+30/+30???

yea thats my point, those 30 points of mind cost can make a significant difference. My Alt is a Master Rifleman / Master Brawler / Master TKA. My base mind pool is already 1000 to utilize powerboost well and my focus and willpower are maxed for a zabrak. If I have a 40/40/0.298 adv stock with +30 mind cost on a T-21 Im looking at mind hams around 99-105. If I start spamming strafe2 or conceal shot even w/ a double dose of BE vasarian brandy (+405 for 41m per consumption) I can still watch my mind pool deplete. Using the form fitted stock can make a difference on how fast it depletes. Although rifleman do get nice speed bonuses they still dont fire at the speed cap. This link http://killyourpc.org/swg/swg_dps.php is VERY usefull in calculating DPS for each special and tells you the rate at which you fire it. A Master Rifleman has a speed bonus of 90 (95 if he mastered marksman too). Consider A t-21 with 7.3 speed (fairly common unstocked variety)

Special w/o MMarksman w/ MMarksman

Head Shot 3 1.5 1.0

Conceal Shot2.21.1

Flushing 21.9 1.0

Strafe 22.61.3

now equipped w/ std stock yeilding a 7.6 rifle (ive actually seen this higher .. ugh)

Head Shot 3 1.5 1.0

Conceal Shot2.31.1

Flushing 22.0 1.0

Strafe 22.71.3

now equiped w/ aImp stockyeilding a 6.7 rifle (i know its -0.5 but it comes out 6.7 for me so must be a rounding thing)

Head Shot 3 1.3 1.0

Conceal Shot2.01.0

Flushing 21.7 1.0

Strafe 22.31.2

as you can see it really does impact the rate of fire (and ultimately DPS)

I just wanted to point out (from a rifleman standpoint) that it really isnt wasted on rifles were more damage w/o incurring more ham is always a bonus (ive put them on t21 and dxr6-bs)

However, as a weaponsmith, my advice is put them on your highest profit margin, most likely to sell immediately, item. If Flamers and LLCs fly off your shelf like hotcakes then by all means put them on LLC and Flamers. On my server fast flamers are always in high demand, the trick is getting the speed below 3.4 and still get a damage slice on it, thats usually only possible w/ 5 identical krayt tissues AND the form fitted stock in wich case its a gold mine for the commando's still out there willing to pay (same scenario for the LLC's).

That website is really good for DPS on rifles/carbines/pistols and helps when deciding how you want a weapon to go for the most killing power (tweaking damage or speed). You pretty much have to ignore it on the brawler professions because it doesnt calculate those 'damage' bonuses like unarmed damage etc into the DPS.

this is my concern as profit margin translates to demand id rather use loot to cater to the stronger demand group so sounds like commando wpns and maybe a LLC or 2.

Im no WS, but I am a Rifleman and I have gotten FT made with FF stocks before, the -.5 Speed is better then the 10 mor epoints of damage. Only use FF stocks on either Custom orders, chrage alot, they are getting rarer now, or on Krayt Guns. Speed matters not for Rifleman, most likely they will be going Master Rifleman, and probaly cap on speed. Yes the -30 Mind Cost is nice, but with VB and Ahrisa, there no more HAM costs. So get a FT with it, or it conterpart, the LLC.

With buffs as they are now. I hate to point out that ham costs on high end weapons only have a marginal value. When you can get a mind bar of up to 3000 points. If your still being dogged by haveing to have a low ham cost. All you need do is not attach a stock at all. Speaking as someone who has sold maybe 30 t21s I can state as a fact the overwhelming majority of riflemen do not care about speed or ham cost. I can sell ten stocked t21s without selling a single low ham t21.

I advise this to T21 users its just far more preferable to buy a side line crate of ham reduceing power ups. T21s practically melt in your hands anyway. So a five or ten percent condition loss over the coarse of a crate of powerups. Only costs you what a few hours more of use. Unlike a pistol or other rifles that seem to last forever.

The simple facts about t21s are that a slice can make or break the gun. Whereas a llc or flamer really cannot be done in by a bad slice. Both of these weapons have naturally good damage. If the stock made them quicker and the slice is for damage. The buyer really lost nothing at all. Flip the coin either way and it comes out good. If the weapon gets a speed slice. Wow you got a really fast heavy weapon. If it comes up damage slice. The weapon is still fast and has a great damage.
