No matter what you add to the weapon, the down side is that it add HAM. With this day and age of buff, i believe HAM is the last of the concern.
I always add advance scope and advance stock to all my weapons.
1) You will get some crazy ideal range modification. Thus the accuracy level is insane. Especally when you use ranged weapon such as RB which their ideal range base sucks
2) Adding stock give you that extra 40 damage kick over base. Very useful!

ok i know that when you add a stock to a weapon it increases the dmg but also increases the ham costs. i also know that adding a scope to a weapon increases the range mods. what i wanna know is, are there any downsides to using a scope like there is for using a stock? also, can a stock and a scope be used on the same weapon? thx for any help
