With pub9, a bug appeared on TC which let you fire your weapon/special at 1 sec. Gamebreaking in itself, my weapons seems to decay much faster now.

Is there a connection between speed and decay?

Thx

yeah....the connection is that your weapon decays everytime you use it. Some specials such as "overcharge" also decay your weapon faster as well.

So if you more times, using more specials, your weapons will certainly decay more quickly than if not.

Thats the onlynatural relation between the two, unless pub9 is purposely designed to make weapons decay faster.

I know it decays faster when you use specials, but does it decay faster depending on the speed on your weapon?

Will a 1.0 speedFlamethrower decay faster than a 4.8?

I'm not using any more /flamesingle2's to kill an enemy, I do it in a much shorter time.

Your question is valid and yet hard to pin down like exactly what does wound do. If it has nothing to do with accuracy. Anyway I would say yes the flame thrower would decay faster. If you are fireing once a second and it takes ten shots to chisel a point of condition off. Then Obviously you will reach the end of the guns life faster.

I feal like I am discussing relativity example you have a rocket that no matter what you do can never go above a thousand feet, but you have two different fuels for it. One gets the rocket slowly to one thousand feet while the other gets there real fast. You are not doing less damage or getting less use out of the weapon. You are just useing it up faster, because you are useing it faster.
