Thread: I'm on edge here, about to drop WS. What do I do?

So I love making weapons, and I'm currently working on crafting mastery. I left the game for roughly four months to tour around the country with a drum corps. Before I left, I was making great weapons with great feedback from many people. Now since I've come back, the game is taken over with ADK's and capped weapons. NOBODY needs weapons anymore it seems. So now I have nicely stocked vendors which are good for nothing except taking screenshots and admiring my own work.

Can anybody give me a reason why I should stay in weaponsmithing? I can't find any reasons to. All I seem to be doing is going broke.

If you are planning on buying the expansion, I'd say wait and see if that helps things out. You never know. Right now I get more $ from custom weapons than I do from regular sales. I'm fine with that because I don't really need any more creds. If you are in it for the money and it's not working, you might wanna try something else if the expansion doesn't boost sales. Usually expansions do especially if there are new weapons.

yo have a fantastic point....it seems more and more people are finding the weapons they need and then slapping an ADK on them. As noted by another poster...custom sales r what drives my business...but then again all my custom sales wind up being dmg and sac capped guns...

ADK's were easily exploitable and our server is over run with them.

People also spam buying ADK's for 15 Mill or somethign retardedly low, and people want quick cash because they don't care about anything enough to keep the ADK.

Then they sell em for 20-25 MIl which drives prices on everything up because thye do B/O on anything worth anything. Which makes more people sell thier ADK's to afford even the most average SEA's/Weapons/Armor.

So ADk's are everywhere and Capped weapons or Server tranfer with P-Up weapons are everywhere.

What can ya do? SOE doesn't seem to care, people have to play more to work up to afford the Vet rewards... or get them themselves...

SAD SAD SAD

I don't make any regular weapons anymore, and make custom orders to guildies or friends for free if they bring the loot. I just like crafting and playing around seeing if stuff works out.

If you aren't having fun...change it up... all I can say.

That's why I have a alts, so I can keep good ol' Terv a WS/Smuggler

I'm still selling around 200 weapons a week. That is down from 500 a week right after EP3 hit the theaters. There are still lots of people buying weapons.
