Thread: Help about tapes

Just a simple question I'd like confirmed, and backed up by what...? another 100 people...
At this very moment in time Does Assembly (and therefore tapes) Do anything? I know the critical fail was removed from the game, so does assembly do anything now? I know it effect how good an item starts at before experimentation, but even with different assembly 'versions' eg. good, great, they are seem to be the same? please help, I do not want to investing in assembly tapes if I don't need to.

The general consensus is that having more assembly in tapes gives you better chance of getting amazing on assembly. However general belief is that amazing on assembly doesnt make a difference what so ever. I have +30 in tapes so far mainly because I want to believe it makes a diference 
Its not the place to spend your money first though, but if you find a bargain, why not, it doesnt hurt in any case
