Thats right, I feel like a fraud. I had a respec token left from months ago and finally used it today. I dropped Droid Engineer, which I have enjoyed playing since last year however, every publish it gets more and more useless. So after much deliberation I hit on the WS + Smug template. I am now sat here reading all your posts and reading the FAQ, thinking, what the hell are these people talking about..
Some guy just approached me and ask could I make him X with XYZ stats.
- My answer - Run Away!! lol I havent got a clue. There is a lot to be learnt grinding the good old hard way and learning as you go. Respec to you guys.
Now I gotta work out what I am supposed to do.
EVen considering dropping it all and grinding it manually.. learn as I go.

First of all welcome aboard
Weaponsmith is a very complicated profession to get into (even though it has been dumped down a lot with the CU), but the fact that you actually have to think to do well is one of the main charms if you ask me ![]()
A couple of advices
- Dont give up. You will slowly understand it as you try it out
- Dont start out with enhanced weaponry before you feel certain about what you are doing (no reason to waste enhancers)
- Dont make large factory runs of components before you are sure the ones you make is actually usable
- Read this forum every day. Its good for tips, bug reports and general discussion (+ we are a cool bunch of people to hang out with
) - Dont be afraid of crafting, just start making weapons, you learn from mistakes and as long as you dont involve enhancers it wont cost you too much.
- Dont be intimidated because of the ammount of knowledge required, once you master it the feeling of accomplishment will be astounding

Weaponsmith might not take more than a couple of days to grind out (even though its one of he most painfull grinds ingame), but it takes months to truly master ![]()
Get crafting though, its great fun ![]()

Oh and to add to Summer's post, I'm not hung over most the time, just grumpy and sarcastic.
