Thread: Is metal staff still the best 1st grind?

Having read the guides and following the metal staff grind for a while, I'm about 25k into the first tier. But the metal staff thingy only gives 89xp per! Seems pretty pathetic to me, isn't there a better xp model than that?

The very best way to grind is heavy warheads, but it requires a lot of special resources. You can find the guide for the grind in the stickied FAQ

Crafting macro, wireless mouse, a few good movies, and you're set for a grind. Or you can use the "fan-trick" that was posted a while back.
I only just reached 0404, doing almost exclusively trigger casings (since I was too lazy to keep looking for other schematics with my macro )
