CL 54 carbines have a crafting cap of 1064 and a slicing cap of 1046, so, no.

.....who will then take no action against the player/crafter who exploited to get it like that.
Weapon stat validation is, I believe, being implemented at some stage,weps over the caps will have their stats reset at login.
