Hey there fellow smith, heh.
Same story here mainly at first, not selling much other than starter things on bazaars, such as D18s, DH17 Pistol, Carbines and the ever popular DH17 Snub or short carbines.
I belong to a guild also where most of my guildmates give me schematics they find or come across for fancy things, and also use their lots
to help the crafters in the guild with resources.
Some level of merchant is a necessity so that you have a place to sell from, and advertising 3 although taking a lot of spots lets you advertise them.
Some look on the CTRL-V planetary, and some just look with the map running and stop at whatever looks interesting.
Maybe include some form of a name, brand, or other on your weapons you produce, factories are great if you happen to make a particularly good run of something, I would definitely recommend crating power handlers, scops, stocks, etc mainly for convenience on your part.
If your having a hard time getting established, include a waypoint for your vendor, with your brand, or whatever you like, so that people will know where to come for it, and keep the vendor as stocked as you can, most of the vendor browser types like variety, hehe.
See whats popular on your server where you plan to sell from, some planets obviously have better economy's than others, and make those.
D18 pistols, DH17 Snub carbines, Laser Carbines, Laser Rifles, T21s, Scout Blasters, Power Hammers, 2h curved swords, 1h curved swords seem to always sell good for me.
If you can scrape the parts for flame throwers or Lightning cannons, those are good movers at a reasonable price.
Anyways, enough ranting, hehe.
