Thread: Odd results with Krayt weapons

OK. Just wondering if this has been noticed by anyone else? I have made countless krayt weapons but as of late they are just getting some screwy end results. Latest has been a Krayt Jawa Ion. My standard Ions are anywhere from 226-228 max dmg. Now with +41 Krayt tissues I should have been around 280-285 for max damage. I experimented on the rifle w/ all great success and maxed Dmg and was able to put some points in durability as well. Now here's the kicker. The max dmg was only 253.SOOOafter delivering to the customer I went back to the shop and made one from scratch including the barrel and power handlers. Whaddya know... 228 max dmg. Now the question is what just happened and has anyone else seen this?

probably a mod success on assembly.....

I think that you r calculation is a little off. If your making a 228 then with +41 you would expect 269. 253 still a lot less but that is prob from a mod success. I crafted about 30 Krayt weapons tonight and didn't have any issues.

Well I know something is now wrong.. No it wasn't a moderate success as they were all Great successes on experimentation. Anyway. The rifle in mention has a 21% dmg slice and simple mathematics dicatates that 253 x 121% = 306. Well it came out to 296 max dmg instead of 306. Now either something bugged out on final assembly/experimentation OR the tissues themselves were bugged and therefore screwing up the end result.

well, it possibly could have been a moderate sucess on the assembly(like someone else said)

I've seen this twice on Scatters. One was krayt and the other was a high powered, both had great assemblies but it was immediately evident something was wrong on the experimentation window. Both came out about 10-15 points less than what they should have. My only explanation is that I accidently used the wrong iron but I'm reasonably sure I did not.

Sometimes you get worse stats when filling the last box. Usually when you get an amazing. Might be some kind of rounding error (usually only a point or a few more).
