I was reading a post in the issues thread about a weaponsmith be able to slice their own weapons
which I thought was a bad idea but wouldn't it be great if a weaponsmith could unslice a weapon...
The smuggler slices the weapon and you get a 17% speed slice(or any speed slice for that matter); what happens to the weapon; it probably gets destroyed or given away.
Wouldn't it be great if we could undo that slice; at a cost; then the slicer could try again.
Maybe when a weapon is unsliced, it loses 25%-50% of it's condition, so you would only have at most two attempts before the weapon is junked anyway.
This would also make condition of a weapon a bit more important than it is now.

Problem: the penalty to slicing is a very low chance of repair. If you can unslice a weapon, then repair, then reslice, you have circumvented the penalty to slicing.

I think he mean the weapon should lose 25-50% of it's max condition, not current condition

Only problem I see is that you could slice and unslice (in theory) forever. If it's just loosing a percentage of it's condition. It should be a set number, like 150 points of condition or something. That way, condition actually matters before it reaches 0.

Sounds good, wish I had it when my friend made my de-10 dang speed slice
(pre-WS days for me)
