Have a master artisan make it as it is an artisan weapon and uses artisan experimentation points.

They were all the rage at this time last year. BHs were using them on marks since the HAM costs on specials was so high.

- I support keeping & balancing the current combat system You can too
Hicobaja Dalaran Dwarf Hunter
MLS Healer 3204 Enhancer 2202/Neutral Pilot 3434 Soon to be retired
Hicobyw(canceled)
Faithe(e) Dalaran Human Warrior

All they need is 4400 artisan since that is where you get the experimentation for it. Humans get extra experimentation also. You can have up to 14 experimentation points.

I am trying to figure out how much damage you could really do with a low HAM (efficientcy experimented) CDEF carbine. My thought is not too much. A CDEF has no AP at all.I would thinkthat you would do more damage with non-special attacks with a laser carbine than you would with carbine specials and a CDEF, particularly if your target was armored or had any energy resists. Am I missing something here?

i was planning on using the cdef for the dizzy and knockdown states - with decent level mobs like 10k to 13k hams etc - as a carb all i have to do is dizzy and knockdown and keep them dizzied- then once the time is right change to a laser carb and quickly finish them off

guys thanks for the advice and suggestionsi will look for a human master artisan

This might be the point where you go to the carbineer boards and see what they think.

hi, whats the best cdef carbine i could expect regarding ham costs? would it be better for a master artisan to make it, just wondered?

a cdef carbine to a master carb and bh x4xx(enforcer) with low hams stats i.e. 4/10/4 would be awesome and the trick to fighting unbuffed, would it be to make anything close to these ham cost stats (i.e. 4/10/4)?

thanks for ur time

Back in my day of MA (see the noob name) my best CDEF carbine was only like 2.6 speed and 35-76 damage (i think). I was using crap resources so if someone REALLY wanted to, they could churn out one hell of a CDEF Carbine.

already tried a low dh17 but not a success ham wise - i might try again but i want them to use my resources as i have some of the best (yeah yeah yeah i know u have the best your a WS after all) - like the same with the cdef but i have steel cd 990ish and OQ 930ish and for the chems OQ 990+(might be 998)- i go "please look at my resources i have good if not gr8 stuff" and the reply is "nah, i got better stuff" - same with the resources for the dh17 - im just gonna grind out artisan and weaponsmith to do it myself its the only way sadly /cry

I was able to get efficiency up to 93%

HAM turnedout to be 7-15-7

even if you went to 100% its not going to get much lower 6-14-6 at the most
