Thread: From scratch to Master WS.... How much could it cost ?

Ok i'm considering making a WS but i am wondering how much would it cost me to go from scratch to master weaponsmith ?
grinding ressources and all
anyone could tell me ?
i would really appreciate it

Probs cost me about 500k
Though friends helped me out alot with skevon, harved some and gave me some. Hydron 3 was bought and Thoranium was 2cpu.

it's pretty cheap given i thought it would cost around 1,5 mil to 2 mil
then with 4 mils i'd be good to get to Master plus get some harvs and factories given that i have the lots ...
anyone second that figure ?

As I said its more down to luck. I took the warhead route and luckily I got some cheap hydron-3 and harvested the skevon. Thoranium came from a venodr for 2cpu, radioactive was 1cpu and I had some grinding metal from before.

i took the good ol fasioned way.....grind rifle barrels for hours upon hours...all u need is about 200-300k of steel

I think it cost me roughly 25 mill from Nov Artisan to Master Weaponsmith 
But that included collecting somegood resources along the way

welll.. . for me, novice artisan to master took round 2 mil, using warheads. DE took about the same,2 mil. . . .(my finger will never forgive me, DE in 1 day, WS in 3)

From scratch to Master WS? 500k thereabouts
From Master WS to a good weaponsmith? Millions.... probs in the 10s, somehwere around 30mil or so would be my guess.
12pt smith? Close to 10mil, If i can get some +2s or a +3 tape. (I looted a +6 shirt and was given a few +2/+1s

I agree and second his reply fully. Hitting master by no means makes you a master.
The grind is very inexpensive however the after master grind to the best resources and the extra 2 points is rough. Just be prepared to donate a great deal of time to going for nothing but the best.

50 million for the grind from novice artisan to a 12 point Weaponsmith with over5 million units of the best resources on my server to craft with.

From novice WS to master cost me about 3.5 million, but I had a hard time finding the resouces to go the warhead route.
To get to 12 point expect to add 15 million to that.
To go from nothing to being one of the elite WS on your server i'd say about 20 milllion is what you'd need, 30 if you want to get into the loot crafted game.
