High Capacity Scatter #1
377-780 @ 1.94 speed (297.22 DPS)
Accuracy bonus 1
High Capacity Scatter #2
377-780 @ 1.96 speed (295.15 DPS)
Accuracy bonus 13
How important is that extra +12 if the person using this is a Master BH with high accuracy already? Will he/she miss that much more if he's using #1 if the opponent has really high ranged defense?

From brief testing using Ranged Shot, yes it is worth sacrificing speed for accuracy. Not sure how accurate this is as the data is too small. I'm sure we can get a better idea if we shot someone 100 times or so.
Against a Swordsman
Scatter #1: 8 hits and 2 misses
Scatter #2: 10 hits and 0 misses
Against a TK using Center of Being
Scatter #1: 4 hits and 6 misses
Scatter #2: 7 hits and 3 misses
I have Master BH/Rifles with 0034 Pistoleer.
Ranged Speed w/Scatter: 80
Ranged Accuracy w/Scatter: 227
Ranged Speed w/Rifle: 146
Ranged Accuracy w/Rifle: 306
With rifles, I missed the TK doing COB 3 times and hit him 7 times.

I've been playing around with the different scopes.
With my advanced scope, I can get a +9 accuracy for a 0.5s penalty.
With my regular scope, I can get a +5 accuracy for a 0.169s penalty.
I've been using the regular scope on everything for now, until I get a better idea on how useful the extra +4 would be.

I was able to improve my Advanced Scopes from
Speed: 0.241
Wound: 4
Accuracy: 11
to
Speed: 0.109
Wound: 5
Accuracy: 10
Hopefully, I can do another test with more shots takenbut I'll need to find a jedi who can heal my opponent.

Accuracy also adds to damage if it's above the target's defense.

Yes, Tiggs (I believe) stated this.
