I take a 2 week vacation to come home to swg for about 3 days before CU and find out that it has goen live early and I missed the massive Chimaera rollback. But I have no clue now. I have a couple of questions regarding the state of things atm. No what should i experiment on questions as i wanna work that out myself atm, but:

-The change makes 12pt alot more important for ws, but I hear that being FS is also alot more important now, why is that? Is there no cap on experimentation anymore. Are there 14pt ws out there just like 14pt artisans atm?

-First I hear theres a hard cap on DPS on weapons, then I hear resource quality is alot more important, whats the thing here, I have pretty much all the server best stuff, but want a confirmation on how that turned out.

-Slicing, is it a fact that I have a larger chance of a good slice with a gun made with shoddy stuff than one made with server top stuff?

-How much of a difference is there between pre-CU components and post-CU components, am I pretty screwed because I never got those 3 days to prepare?

-I like icecream, do you?

Any help on these questions will be greatly appreciated. And any other info on drastic changes too

Hm my old Pre-CU components are better than the new ones they do more damage. Especially my weapon stocks (as far as i don't split them) have still 40/40 damage. If i split them the damage is gone.

And i like icecream too. .P

NGE satisfaction meter.

Give it a shot [--------------------------------------|] SOE should be shot

-Don't worry, FS did not make us 14pt WS's. But more amazing successes during assembly certainly helps, especially sonce we'e not caping all the lines.

-Yes, there are hard caps on weapon stats. I've hit speed and damage caps on different weapons.

-Resources, you should be ok on, but you'll want to take a closer look at resources with stat caps, like on conductivity, because the system compares the stat to the stat cap for that resource slot, instead of 1000. So when the schem calls for Plumbum, it rates the CD as, say, 80/100 instead of 80/1000. Interesting note I found is that if the schem asks for steel, and you use a JTL steel, it goes with a 1000 CD cap, but if you use a pre-JTL steel, it calculates with a 650 CD cap (or whatever it is)

Slicing, I haven't messed with. But with hard caps in place, it stands to reason that a top quality weapon won't have as much room for improvement. Now, if they would make a goodreason why it's a good thing to carry unsliced weapons, it would all balance out.

Most pre-CU components are better (not only dmg/speed, but action cost too), but don't feel bad, I didn't have stockpiles of some things either (like ABPH's!). My AVBU's didn't convert at all, so the new AVBU's are better.

-Ice cream's too cold, it hurts my teeth
