Thread: Enhancements and new crafting.

First, if someone already posted this I apologize and point me to their thread. I couldn't find anything that strictly discussed what I'm about to go over.
I think we are stuck in an "Old" mindset when adding Enhancements to our new weapons. We are expecting that 150 Damage Krayt tissue to push the weapon way up the chart. The problem is that weapons now have a "Hard Cap."
This is my take on crafting now:
- Adding tissues or whatever will NOT raise the Maxium damage above the "Hard Cap."
- What an Enhancement will do, is to ALLOW you to reach that "Hard Cap" with fewer expermentation points used.
- This allows you to experiment more on Speed or Effeciency for example.
- The new system will allow Enhancements to create a better "Overall" weapon, but not an Overbalanced extremely high damage weapon.
This is what I have obeserved from my crafting so far.
One thread talksabout a Krayt scatter being less than a standard scatter. I think there are still some bugs that hit at random times and could be what caused that. My Krayt guns came out stronger than non-krayt guns.....stronger as in "Better" overall gun.
