I was making a rifle stock schem (non-advanced) using 685 SR wood and when I entered the wood the bar only showed about 70% (should have been around 98%), as though it was basing SR on a scale of 1000, but SR ranges from 1-700 for wood. If anyone could check and see if they find the same thing and bug report it if they do that would be great.

The new resource calculation only applies to named resources. The standard rifle stock requires generic wood.

But in this case generic wood has a stat range of 1-700SR when you look at all 3 types
So why shouldn't this be taken into account for a wood "slot" just like it would for a more specific slot?
This isn't an issue for most generics as either by nature or forced by SW versions you can find values in the 1-1000 range, but here you can't.

They treat all generic resources as having stats 1-1000. You never know, there might be a new wood in RotW with this new stat range.

bleh
its a giant hack and statements like "maybe rotw will have something" is just an excuse to cover up yet another place where the new scheme falls apart.

You're incorrect. I just tested by using 496/967 Iron in a schematic and it gives full valuation, recognizing the fact that Iron cond maxes at 500. Based on your supposition it would only rate slightly below 75% but that's clearly not the case.

Which schematic was that? If the dev's are being inconsistent on their calculations, that could be cause enough to force them to make a change in one direction or another. Of course, that may be optimistic of me.

Iron's used in at least the FWG5, Tusken and Striker and probably a few more among the new schematics.

I came up with a wierd bar on my 2nd best ever Polonium when making an Elite.. Can anyone check to see if they get the same? my bar is right around 50%, which is where it was before the CU.
