Alright, I just kinda skimmed through other posts and haven't really seen mention of this. I'm afraid it might be just a problem I'm having, but...
At the moment, I can't craft blaster weapons under level 20 or so. This includes weapons like the DLT20 rifle, DH17 cabine and pistol, and D18 pistol.
The specifics are, and forgive me for not being technical:
Components aren't showing up in the resources window. Y'know, where you drag resources and components into the approriate slot. I've tried with components in and out of crates. Also, when one does show up(seems to only be scopes), when I try to load it in the appropriate slot, it gives me an error message that reads as follows: "Bad component chosen for slot. You should not be able to put that component here."
And that's all she wrote. Anyone else had this problem? I've already sent in a bug report, think I'm about to send another one in. And again, sorry if I'm the 500th weaponsmith to post about this. :/

Nope. I've not had that problem. Were these newly crafted components, or converted ones?

Converted. Except for the ABPHs I have. I ran out pre-CU, so I made more. Still won't work.

Have you tried using regular components instead of its advanced counterparts? I know some of the lower end weapons will only accept unandvanced components.

Y'know...that's probably such a simple damn solution for it...
All I know is, pre-CU, I could use advanced components in newb weapons. Lemme me try.
Update: Yeah, non-advanced components are needed. Thanks for telling me SOE. =/
