Thread: question bout to start grinding WS

ok so i read where one person was having trouble with weaponsmith now having 3 types of xp and not being able to train any boxes or convert at the village
i got my new alt to novice weaponsmith today and figured would go check out this board for all the info i need and i came across this
so i take it i won't be able to grind weaponsmith and will have to do smuggler till this is fixed correct?

Did you get WS post CU?
From what I've seen, it's a problem for those of us who've been WS's before the CU. Our old xp is there, along with a new listing for any xp we've gained post-CU. I haven't read or heard anything about where this 3rd type came from.
If all your WS xp is coming post CU, I don't think you would have any problem grinding out the profession.

wish i could get in and test it but sadly my server is offline lol will test it once i get back in and report back on if this effects old and new WS (my other alt has some left over weaponsmith xp from way b4 will get novice on him and test that and the new alt with ws)

test it on my new alt getting 0 xp in weapon crafting but i have +178 in weaponscrafting xp doesn't count towards the boxes

I did my time 
Pre CU - Mastered all but 2 boxes crafting 2 handed axes
Post CU - I was getting NO xp off crafting 2 handed axes (towards my last two boxes) So I went back to craftingBarrels (Components gave me xp, weapons did not) I would do this ASAP as once the double xp is removed it will take you ages to master!!!
