Been messing around with a few weapons/templates. Am I missing something or are we limited to firing off 1 special every 3 seconds? If so - what's the point of having a high speed weapon?

Tried that - it seems that all timers are at least ~3 seconds. Depending upon the special, you have to wait a certain amount of time before firing it off again [which makes sense to prevent you from spamming high powered shots].

I think its 1 second setup, weapons speed (capped at 1 second) then 1 second cool down.
If the system works properly, noone will be able to hit that 1 second weapons speed between the weapon itself and prof mods.

Actually depending on the special you can use 2 right after eachother depening on their cooldown and if they are in different groups

The specials are classified in categories--I don't have a list 
Supposedly, you cannot use specials that are in the same category, but can use specials from other categories without waiting. You might need to play with this a bit.

As a pikeman I could sweep and then follow with another more powerful strike 1 second later. Get lots of action regen foods and the action enhancement from the doctors.
I haven't touched a ranged weapon, but I assume they work similarly.
