I am sorry if this has been addressed before...
My weapon stocks made post CU have no damage stats (min or max). The few stocks that I had left over that got converted by the CU do have min and max damage stats. This leaves me a tad confused here.
Are stocks suppose to add to the damage now or not? If not, what purpose do they server other that making the waepon slow? Do my old pre-CU stocks with the damage stats actually increase the damage or not?
I have to admit that I haven't done too much besides make some emergency weapons post CU. I am just now starting to craft in earnest and realizing just how much has changed. I feel like a noob weaponsmith again.

I noticed the same thing. You can improve the accuracy, but it's hardly worth the hefty speed penalty that can't be experimented out. Until I see something different, no stocks are going on my weapons.
Scopes, on the other hand, are slightly different. Building a "standard" (as opposed" to Advanced) scope, I got a +4 accuracy increase with a 0.016 sec speed penalty... which is essentially no penalty at all. Will be looking at Advanced Scopes tomorrow morning.

Advanced Stock
Attack Speed: 0.109
Wound 4:
Attack Cost: -13
0.109 isn't too bad since action cost is a killer now. I wonderwhencomparing ratios if
(DPS1/SAC1) > (DPS2/SAC2)
wouldbe agood assumption, where DPS1 and SAC1 are with stock and DPS2 and SAC2 are without stock. So if DPS1/SAC1 is greater than DPS2/SAC2 then we would use stocks.
Here's an example
285.39/111 = 2.57 (T21 with stock)
300.82/131 = 2.30 (T21withForm Fitted Stock, so no SAC change but increase in min-max damage and -0.5 speed)
232.25/104 = 2.23 (pre-CU T21)
In this case, we would use a stock because it gives the best DPS/SAC ratio.
