I use the stocks on everything that will accept them.

I do not put scopes on mass-manufactured weapons that go for sale on vendor.

When I make an item specifically for a person, I give them the option if they would like a scope on it or not, explain the benefits and drawbacks of having one on there.

For Scopes the benefits are increased range mods and increased wound chance

The drawbacks would be adding more HAM requirements to the weapon

I use scopes when I can on most weapons.

You can make +ideal with 0 ham cost regular scopes that have no drawbacks, they also increase wound chance some:

With 10 exp pts I made +10-11 ideal range 0 ham regular scopes

With 12 exp pts I make +15 ideal range 0 ham regular scopes

With 12 exp pts I make +22 ideal range 2/2/2 ham advanced scopes I like to put on some weapons and on custom guns (up to customer of course but most want these instead of +15 with0 ham).

With 12 exp pts I make +43 ideal range 17/17/17 ham advanced scopes I like to put on a few weapons such as a dxr6b disruptor rifle with an advanced stockto hit +125 ideal range, large ham (people with buffs don't care), and people don't miss with it and as an addition to an LLC to hit +61 ideal. These are for people who want extreme accuracy and I like to have a large variety of weapons so it is fun to play around with the things we can.

I, also, almost always use scopes. You can make them so that the additional HAM cost is negligable, and extra accuracy never hurts. It uses up a lot more HAM when you miss, basically, than the small additional HAM cost of the scope to help you hit. Besides, how many people do any serious hunting or PvPing without buffs?

Stocks I am not as free with. Whereas, I will add scopes to virtually every factory run I make, I generally make two runs of weapons that can take stocks: my regular run without stock and then a smaller one with stocks. The extra HAM cost of a stock is significanat enough thata lot ofpeople choose not to have them, so I give the option.

When I custom make a weapon for someone, the customer always gets the option on both pieces.
