Yep i agree, after all resources were collected i ground it out in under 6 hours. I was really tired after i finished though...

I did that way too finsihed yesterday.
I did it over 3 days though.
I advise to get a list of all the resources from the guide (the stick guide) and then go to the Ex-Crafter link
I dont know on your server but the Steel and the Gas is soo rare.

what should i grind to get Master the quickest way so i can start crafting my weapons

go up the munitions tree and start making heavy warheads once you can. takes a few resources. but that is 1 of if not the fastest way.
