Hi all,
I was thinking about doing a project that I haven't heard too much about on my server. What I'm looking for is akinetic damage weapon for fencer that would be good for grinding.
I was wondering if anyone has had good results making 1h swords or curved swords from high damage rancor teeth (100 damage or higher). Is it possible to be over 300 max dmg preslice with a good tooth? What would be the approximate stats on something like that? As you probably know, with fencer, speed really isn't an issue once you get 0300 or so.
I've seen people get acklay bones and make nice gaffi sticks, but I'd rather save those for the stun batons. 100dmg bone = 600k, 100dmg rancor tooth = 30k. I could make a bunch of them, and slice them until I get a few damage ones.
I'm not a WS, just getting some info before I spend too much effort tracking down materials.
Thanks in advance!

sword core = 43/43 -.60 low hams good range
rancor tooth (for 1h curved or ryyk) = xx/100 dmg + speed (never seen a tooth with neg speed) high hams poor range
reinforcement core = 41/41 -.56 low hams good range
acklay bone (gaffi or stun baton) = 100/100 zero speed, no ham no range
Step 1, visit my website and write down stats for the weapon, then click on the stat calc.. acklays just pick that you are using an acklay.
for teeth you must manually subtract 43 min and 43max from the rancor tooth (this usualy ends up with a negative min dmg bonus). For speed put whatever the speed is (do not add a negative).
Ooor if you are lazy just post the exact _full_ stats on the Teeth and Bones you have and Ill calc it for ya

Yes, it is possible to clear 300 damage on a 1h-curved sword with really good rancor teeth. I think the one I used was 12-173 and the sword came out at 3.5 speed, 301 max damage. I gave it to a master fencer friend (so the speed didn't matter), and he got a 30% damage slice. Slap a 30% powerup on there and you have yourself a 1h-curved sword with over 500 max damage

Thanks for the help! What I ended up doing is making an acklay gaffi after all. +72/92 bone, and a 25% dmg slice gave me 340-something max damage - with a mind HAM cost of 8.
Hehe - this is the perfect weapon to grind fencer. Speed is 4.0, but thats OK once you get 0200.

Once you move up the Footwork tree, gaffis are definitely the way to grind fencer. =)
