Is Gorax spawning now? I have heard different responses from all different places. Anyone??

I just read a thread on the Test Center forums that they have revamped the Gorax, and the devs were testing out how hard he was with some ATATs. So sounds like he'll be back and buffed soon.

I have no idea if Gorax is currently spawning on live servers, sorry.

Damn! ATATs! If they are testing with those, do we even have a chance? I will have to recruit an army!

I can confirm the gorax. Last night i was talking with the leader of a hunting party (a master ranger i believe) who is going to be doing some big game hunting for me. When I mentioned that I would like to get my hands on some gorax shards after i was able to confirm its existence, he told me that he had personally seen one just the day before, and I have reason to trust this person's word. It's an incredibly rare spawn, but apparently it is spawning on live servers.

Happy hunting, this creature's not to be trifled with.

Yeah, gorax is definitely spawning, I took a gazillion screenshots while we fought him. looks like he has "AREA DIZZY", sostand back!

I did a reformat = no screenshots. but I'm a master weaponsmith, so just uhm, trust me

Yes it is. As far as I know the first Gorax was killed in Eclipse shortly after the pathc and a Gorax Bone Shard enhanced weapon was made withing minutes of looting.

The spawn is stupidly rare, people have sent two groups with rangersto the Endor desertfor four hours and didn't find any.

What can you use the Gorax Bone shards in?

The shard goes in the projectile feed mechanism (just like the stuff from Nym's guys), so any gun that requires this component will take this enhancement. Hunt around SWGCraft.comif you need alist of these weapons.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say.. That no NPC on Endortriggers the Gorax. I must have spoke to everyone, at both outposts and every POI.. I am gonna say someone offplanet spawns the Gorax. Just who that is, is still a mystery to me.

You can't trigger the spawn. There used to be an NPC mission from one of the outposts that would send you to go kill the gorax at one point, but that mission was taken out 2-3 patches back, after which the gorax was nowhere to be found. With the latest patch, he is now spawning dynamically, anywhere in the desert area.
