I saw TH give the explanation that pre-nerf fwg5s couldn't be taken out of the crate because the schematic has been removed form the game. He insisted that the guns were crafted when you you remove them from the crate. However, I found a crate of very old fwg5s from early in the game. I think the top damage was 165 or something like that. Anyway, these guns have the same schematics as those 63-213 1.7 fwg5s that you can no longer take out of the crate.
When I found my old crate of guns 30-165 2.0 , I tried to take them out and did so sucessfully. However, when I tried to take out my 63-213 1.7 guns I got a message saying to remove them from the game. Both crates were pre-nerf crates of fwg5s. My only conclusion is that they are judging pre-patch guns by looking at the damage. I"m a noob so i could be wrong.
This stinks as much as the reason for not being able to implement the no decay in PvP.
Any thoughts ? Am I thinking about this wrong ?
A good max stat indicator would be to plug in 1000 to all resource properties and see what the stats would be. Anything higher than that is pre-nerf.
