Thread: Holo-Grinding For Msrt WeaponSmith...need some real help!!

I am trying to remain patient with this game as I just gained novice weaponsmith 2 days ago. I have spent well over 500K of previously earned money on resources alone...only to find that at novice I can get a max XP per item of like, 50. How in the world can the devs expect me to sit and craft for 10 hours a day, getting a measly 50 XP in gen weap. crafting while running through mind-boggling amounts of resources...still to be only at 6k of 38l just to reach ONE of the 4 tree tiers?
So, as I said, I am only novice WS, and I really, really want somebody to tell me what weapons to craft over and over that give optimum XP per item.
Any help would be appreciated on this.
Let me add as a sidenote, I have an incredible guild that has offered to donate ALL resources needed for my grind to Master as they are, and have been , in desperate need of a Mstr WS with exceptional understanding of the weapons. I am currently a master marksman so I have been through and through on weapons and have some decent know how on what it important for use of weapons in battle.
PLEASE help me with this!!!!

The devs didn't intend people to "grind" professions. I believe leveling was *originally* intended to be a natural, over-time process.
Anyways, most weaponsmiths make it up to master grinding and only getting 90 exp per item. There are a few who go another way, but this one is the most economical.

projectile rifle barrels. give around 90 exp each in the practice mode. I thought about grinding those but decided to just get to master as I get to master. N0t doing the gind. decied to play more grind less

Rifle Barrels andCarpal Tunnel Syndrome. And yeah, it's probably the worst grind.

You have two options:
Either go up the firearms tree and grind projectile rifle barrels
or

Ive done both and the "Slackers guide"is the best option if you have access to the specific resources needed

originally weaponsmiths should have earned xp when other players used their weapons...
weaponsmith is one of the many "broken" professions because of this...
so gamers are forced to skirt around original intentions to establish themselves in the professions.

I decided to waituntil i hit master before I made any weapons because of the lack of exp points until you get to master. The slackers way is the best way but uses resources that are hard to come by at times. It makes a night and day differance though you can grind the whole prof in a few hours doing heavy warheads.

Let us know how long it takes you.
I wanted to do things that way, but got frustrated when I realized that almosteverything I sold came from a factory (because it was the only way to get even half-decent quality), and that I didn't get experience for any of it.
