Thread: Renegade pistol Krayt tissues

now, before you guys start the flame(i am used to smuggler forums
), i checked the stickies, but they aren't updated to post-CU-weapons.
can anyone tell me how many Krayt Tissues it takes to build a Renegade Pistol?

renegade pistol requires 2 advanced blaster power handlers that are factory identical
so you need 2 tissues for those.....plus you need a 3rd to make the schematic for the factory

From your experiences, what damage krayt tissue should I be looking for to get close to the damage cap? I would be happy getting to within 4%, so around 900-910 so a 4% damage slice would take it to the cap.
Just for reference, do krayt tissue still add exactly the damage listed in their stats to the max damage of the weapon after the CU? (so I could find a standard Renegade and just add the damage of the krayt tissue to come up with the approximate damage, provided experimentation goes well?)
