Thread: NEW lower cap on fwg5 featherweights?

Made a few fwg5 featherweights today , they now maxed out for dam at 938, but used to max out at 966....More people experiencing this ?, or did i experience a bug. ? Nemis

havent experienced this, what ´was the stats on your shards and didyou have a cirtical failure at the assembly?

t could be that Better Resource has Spawned ...


I had this HAppen to me , i went out found the new resource that Spawned a Better Quality.. and it Turned out slightly Better than before

i think i had this happen to me today,used 157 shards on the feather weight and a regulkar one..both cam eout around 938. Hmm anyone else confirm this

exactly what happened to me. used about +156 shards. All great and amazing sucesses. Nemis

I thought it was the slice cap. I thought the slice cap was going to be different than the constructed cap. I built a Featherweight to take an 8% damage slice to get to max with 69 SAC. I applied my Illegal Booster Core to a 919 max damage Featherweight and it turned out at 935 max damage. Not exactly a 4% increase... hmmm.

Next I applied a Illegal Booster Core to a 70 SAC High Capacity Scatter (same scenario) and it went from 893 to 916. Was there a pistol nerf? I guess I should take this to the smuggler forums...

are featherweights the best thing to make with shards then? i looted a set of 3 nice shards last night and i wasnt sure what would be the best thing to make? Think im limited to pistols as i dont think any good rifle or carbine take 2 or lest feed mechs?

What about launcher pistols?

Dont use a good shard in a Launcher Pistol, they are a lvl 14 weapon now. Certed at Novice Commando.

Did you get the message that you had reached the limit on max dam? Or did you just run out of points?

Ah ok, off the top of my head that was the only other pistol i could think of that used apfm's.

The set of three shards were either 130's or 180's, i had to dash straight afterwards so didnt spend much time examining. I will check em again in a couple of hours.

If they are 180's tho do you think i should keep em for something else? is there anything else in the game better than a feather fgw5 that uses 1 or 2 apfm's?

off topic, is there an advantage of the featherweight over the normal now? as i seem to remember some of the limited use stuff was worse than the infinate use equivilent when dots were removed?

Just an FYI, anything that uses APFM's only uses one of them. They are not like tissues where most weapons require a set of tissues in order to craft any good weapons. So it doesn't matter how many you have in your set since any single weapon will only take one gorax shard to craft.

Not true the Dart Carbine takes a set of 6 shards/proj feed mech.
