Hey, I've only posted a few, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it! Well, anyway, I'm kinda new to th SWG, and I'm intent on becoming a weaponsmith/marksman/scout, but the problem is, I can't figure out how to get started as a weaponsmith! I need to know where I can get schematics, resources, more money, and a really cheap speederbike. Like I said before, I'm kinda new, so I can't quite figure out how to get these things, and where. If someone could help me out, that would be awesome. You can reply to this, or contact me directly at [email protected], or If you have MSN Messenger, give me your e-mail, and we can discuss matters a little more personally. Thanks(if you're gonna help me!) and may the Force be with you!

Well. Where to start.

First off to become a weaponsmith you must grind your way through the engineering column of Artisan. Your gonna need resources for this grind, so start survey as well. Steel and lots of it if your going to grind barrels in weaponsmith. Do artisan missions for money. Find a spot of steel at like 80% near a large city that has a mission terminal, then only get missions for ferrous metal 72% or higher, they pay near1k way back when i did them. Buy some personal harvesters, set them up on that same spot of steel. Rinse and repeat till you have the money you want, buy that speeder bike off the bazaar, i would go ahead and just get a swoop. 18-20k on bazaar.

Theres alot more to it, im just not good at explaining things and since no one had replied yet, maybe this will get you started.

You need to sell your soul to the Devil just like everybody else. Err... I mean, grind, grind, grind.

you get schimatics by learning skill boxes in your skill box screen, you earn these by crafting things with your general crafting tool (if you dont have it buy on the bazzar). If you can manage to earn master artisan, you can make your OWN speeder bike. It's a good idea to grind master atisan, and weaponsmith. You will only need 1 tree of artisan to get to weaponsmith, but you will probably want the survey line, and the business/merchant line as well. Never hurts. Also only master artisan can make a few parts that weaponsmith needs, but mostly you can survive without it, getting someone else to make them.

Boot strap yourself selling resources. Go to swgcraft.com and learn what is a good mineral resource currently in spawn, and when one spawns jump on it with those lovely 10 lots you have. You don't need a friggin house at this point, you need to accumulate tons of materials for the future, for sale and for that WS grind.

What i used to do was go to the three major cities and post 1k and 2k lots of metal for sale. When I got so much money I bought a medium sized harvestor, then two then three. When I got more money, I bought my first BER13, then another then another.

I still to this day check out swgcraft at least twice a day for recent spawns and always try to better my stock of resources. Even if it's just one point betterI get it. Even if it's on that flea-bitten deathtrap Dathomire....I got there and find my nicespot to mine my stuff.

Best of luck and don't be discouraged. It's a long road but it's all about the journey. I find being a MWS very rewarding.
