Recently returned to game, and am getting back into the weapon business. I do not have a combat character, and have yet to play one in the CU, and so I pose a question to those of you who have, or who have sold to combatants.
What weapons are people buying? How big a stock of the "lowbie" weapons do you keep now? Are PuPs being used, if so what kind?
I thank you all in advance.
Rotwa.

Save all your PRE-CU Crates for Custom weapons only (Krayt / Gorax weapons)
All of your new weapon Components get at least -6 SAC (special Action cost) on them
Try to get within 10 points of the SAC cap and dump the rest into damage.
Low CL weapons / Melee weapons stock 1 crate of each and no more.
Power ups - Stocks, Barrels Tactical Grips.

Rotwa --
I find that pup's still sell: damage, speed, and action pup's are in demand. However, the stats for pup material have changed -- you may want to check the Artisan forum for info on those changes.
Weapon stats will depend on the player skills -- low level combat players typically do not care about SAC, as their player speed is low and they do not have specials that suck up action.
At some point in time, SAC becomes a factor, and therefore low SAC weapons are popular for the high level weapons.
