Thread: Is there a demand for mines?

I only got weaponsmith quite recently and I was wondering if there was actually a demand for mines?

Or do people mostly buy them with faction points?

I got asked about them yesterday. They didn't put in an order, but it sounds like it might be coming. That would bring the total number if times I've been asked to mines in the 2 years I've been a WS to....2. Which is fine...they re just as bad as grenades to make.

They are used in minefields for faction bases.

How do mines work? The same as grenades?

So do we conclude that faction minefields aren't used or that the used minefields aren't loaded with mines?
Or is it cheaper to buy mines with faction points, then buy them for credits...
