Thread: Are weapon nerfs retroactive??
Also, could someone give me some numbers on there changes? I havent heard anything specific...
My reading of the current status of TC is that there is a bunch of stuff broken with it, and
the patch should roll out for another month. As a result, I expect we'll see it in 2 weeks.
The t21 nerf was retroactive but that was a change in the underling stats for the gun that our experimentation are based on the FWG is just having a part removed as far as i know i dont think it will be retroactive.
You are correct that curant per-nerf t21s do the smae damage( i have 2) but remember that the T21 was changed TWICE the first time ALL t21 on the servers where changed from Heavy AP to light Damage was reduced and SPd was lowered( so retroactive) then the second "nerf" left these guns at there currant damage reverted AP on ALL t21s to AP3 and made only NEW t21s do less damage. So anything is posible but i belive tht only new guns will be effected this time cause SOE knows that all guns currnantly being used will wear out quickly anyhow. My other chars LLC when from 950 cond to650 just tonight. this doesnt mtter for this gun cause i can make more but just shows how quickly that all guns in use will be gone.
They could do this but considering how many non-krayt non-advanced bph FWG5's there are in existence I tend to lean towards them not doing a d*mn thing

Usually they are not but they did hit all the harvesters, they could easely hit all the FGW5 in existance, with a flat -100 dammage +1 second speed.
Yeah, but that's precisely why I was saying that they probably won't do that. Sure they could do -100 damage across the boards, but let's compare a Krayt FWG5 and a base FWG 5.
Krayt before damage mod - 300 (not that unrealistic, right?)
Base before damage mod - 200
now if they do an across the boards mod on the existing FWG-5's then that krayt drops down to 200, and the base drops to 100. You can see that the non-enhanced pistol suffers more in this instance, and the whole point of the nerf is to tone down the enhanced pistols.
