I was just wondering is an advance componet made with Crappy Named materials still better then a standard Componet made with great materials.. Just wondering as I am running out of materials and ryll hasnt spawned on Kauri for a long time if ever.. I just become a Master a few weeks ago and it drives me crazy tring to find the rare stuff.

Adv projectile parts and power handlers will always be better, adv blaster barrels have slightly higher damage but much lower speed regardless of material stats, and adv scopes with top quality materials will be about the same as regular scopes.

Jennai is incorrect.

If you make advanced components with badmaterials, they can be the same or worse than standard parts with uber materials. Sorry, but its the truth. Best thing is make standard stuff until you get decent quality pops harvested of rare stuff.

Adv power handlers with 2/3 of the material being crap (<200 OQ gas and ore) were much better than standard (16-32 .32 vs 8-19 .44 or whatever). Better gas and ore improved stats to 19-39 .39.

Relevant stats on projectile components seem to be limited to a rather small range so there won't be much variance between good and crap materials, and they will always be better than standard.
