I am not a weaponsmith, but I sure buy a lot of stuff from weaponsmiths.

One thing I have noticed is that on the Bloodfin server, there are very few Heavy Acid Rifles. Among those Heavy Acid Rifles that do exist, they are extremely slow. The fastest I have seen has a speed of 5.1 (unsliced). I have seen Flamethrowers as fast as 4.0 (unsliced).

My questions are as follows:

• How fast can a Heavy Acid Rifle get? Am I just living in a dream world thinking I can find something faster than 5.1?


• Is the process/materials needed to make a Heavy Acid Rifle similar at all to that of a Flamethrower? Or is it more difficult?

My thought is this: Heavy Acid Rifles can be faster than I have seen them, but no one wants to take the time to make them fast simply because the HAR tree in Commando is broken. Am I correct in this assumption?
